Angus & Oink Game Bird Rub 220g

Game Bird is a rub made for game, inspired by the Scottish hills and glens. Its purple colour comes from beetroot, a nod to heather. Juniper brings that classic game pairing, orange and lemon peel add brightness, and rosemary, thyme, sage, marjoram and bay give it a woodland, herby depth. Black pepper and a touch of mustard finish it off.

How to use it

Rub it generously over pheasant, partridge, pigeon, duck or venison before cooking. It's good hot and fast on the grill or low and slow in the slow cooker or oven. It's also lovely on lamb, a Christmas turkey or a roast chicken when you fancy something different.
